Her family has arranged for an informal celebration of Ma, Memaw, Alice Anderson this Friday 1:00 p.m. at Sheddsville Cemetery in West Windsor VT followed by an open house- reception “Memaw’s Party” starting at 2:00p.m. at Alice’s House on John Myers Road. All are invited to both.

Nute’s Group Nancy’s Story I’ve been volunteering with Vermont Adaptive since its first year at Ascutney Mountain with Laura Farrell. I think I’ve only missed one Vermont 100 race and none of the Vermont 50 races. I’m the merch lady you see at both of these races! I don’t ski any more but work at their special event races. The Vermont 50 offers 40 on site bare-spot tent sites. They are first come first serve and are SOLD OUT for 2014. For 2015 you can email Race Director Mike Silverman to reserve your spot. They’re about 8 minutes from the race start, close to the highway (close enough that you can hear it!) and are run by very nice folks. Some racers are already staying there.
