This year I will be running my first ultra, the Vermont 50! The Vermont 50 benefits Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, an amazing organization that helps people with disabilities ski, bike, and experience the great Vermont outdoors! I will be running the 50k on September 25th and decided to be a charity runner for the race. I would really appreciate any donations, which will all go directly to Vermont Adaptive. After many months of training (and a couple more to go) I look forward to the race and helping a great organization! Thank you very much! – Shannon Murphy To learn more about Vermont Adaptive, visit their site : https://www.vermontadaptive.org
Erik R is riding in the VT 50 to help raise $ for VT Adaptive Ski and Sport (VASS) See their website here: https://www.vermontadaptive.org They do great things! If you have questions contact me. Thanks! Erik R
Hello, I have been lucky my entire life to be able to participate in any sport or activity I choose. I’m certainly not the best, but I have no physical limitations that make participating difficult. Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports (VASS) is an organization that helps people with physical or other limitations participate in activities that would normally not be possible or, at the least,, very difficult. I am again, running the VT50 Mile trail race to help raise money for VASS and to help give someone in a wheel chair go skiing, horseback riding, or some other activity they would not otherwise be able to participate in. Please help me raise some money for VASS, so they can make a difference in someones life. I’ll do the running, but I need your help raising the money.
Nute’s Group Nancy’s Story-I don’t even race but I want to raise money for Vermont Adaptive. I’ve been volunteering with Vermont Adaptive since its first year at Ascutney Mountain with Laura Farrell. I taught adaptive skiing for 10 years. I think I’ve only missed one Vermont 100 race and none of the Vermont 50 races. I’m the merch lady you see at both of these races! I don’t ski any more but work at these special event races. Please donate and help me reach my $1000 goal. If I reach my goal I’ll give my race entrance to one lucky person!
