Vermont 50 Updates
Race Bib/Plaque Pick on Sunday-NO, Sorry
Our race director has been getting LOTS requests to have race day bib pick-ups. As stated in past emails and on our website NO Sunday pick-ups.
Vermont 50 During Times of COVID-19
Vermont state is fully open, however, the Vermont 50 is striving to keep you, our race community and volunteers safe from COVID-19.
Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Masks are required in ALL indoor spaces at our race-specifically the BIG TENT. We are also requiring “masks on” while you are at our aid stations. There will be plenty of hand sanitizer around so please use it liberally.
Our aid station volunteers will be wearing masks too and will also be wearing gloves to protect you and them.
And speaking of Volunteers…
VOLUNTEERS are still needed, so if you have a crew or your spectator, that are willing to sign up to help, please have them sign up on line so Amy can put them in a helpful place.

Horse Event on Saturday, Sept. 25
STAY OFF OUR RACE COURSE
Saturday there will be a Horse Event, and they are using many of the same trails we will be using Sunday. This part of our course is owned by horse owners and they do not want runners or mountain bikers on these trails on SATURDAY.
If you come across a horse and rider on the course Sunday, no matter when/where, the horse and rider have the first right of way on the road or trail. It is important for you talk to the rider as you approach them. The rider will instruct you on how to proceed-DO NOT PASS THEM WITHOUT THE RIDER’S OK TO DO SO. THIS APPLIES TO VEHICLES ON THE ROAD too.
