Please Delete Our Race Course from Online Tracking Apps

Thank you for supporting our race, a benefit for Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports.
Vermont 50 Race is a Partnership
What makes the Vermont 50 such a unique event is the partnership with 70 landowners and the support of our local race communities.
Race Course on Private Land
When we come and enjoy the generous access to the private land of these landowners, with their special vistas and Vermont landscapes, we ask you to respect this moment in time.
But now our race is threatened by technology! GPS applications!
Some of the landowners are very concerned about the online posting of our very special Vermont 50 course.
Access to these private lands, comes from the generous ONE DAY-RACE DAY ONLY-PERMISSION.
With the online posting of our course map, these private trails are being TRESPASSED on by Mountain bikers who have found these maps online.
PLEASE REMOVE THESE ONLINE MAPS
We do not have access/ability to remove some of these online maps; we NEED your help in removing them as soon as possible.
REMOVE these maps from your personal account, and if you are having difficulty, contact your application for help.
These online maps are threatening our ability of maintaining the spirit of the Vermont 50 and our relationship with our landowners and our communities.
Race Course Maps SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE
The Vermont 50 and its Race Committee, do not issue maps of our course. We NEVER have and NEVER will.
The course travels over MANY Miles of Private Land.
We honor our landowners rights to privacy, you should honor and respect that too.
Train on PUBLIC not Private Land
If you feel the need to trail for our race, please get a VMBA membership
And support and train on the Ascutney Trails Association trails.
PLEASE DO NOT POST OUR RACE COURSE ONLINE.
We will VERY, VERY strict with anyone who continues to do so.
This is a new form trespassing-digital posting of private land trails!
Please help us keep the Vermont 50 the special race that it has been for the past three-plus decades!
Respectfully,
Mike, Nancy, and the Race Committee
