Norwich — Race director Mike Silverman originally intended to honor Todd Alexander for having accumulating 1,000 miles mountain biking the Vermont 50 last year, but a series of participant injures and logistical issues forced him to postpone the planned post-race ceremony. Thank you to everyone who helped recycle last weekend, your efforts really paid off.

We generated 1780 pounds of trash (still a high number, about a pound per person.)

But we kept 1800 pounds out of the trash-YES!

We recycled 1020 pounds and composted just over 800 pounds!

Well Done!!
