The 28th Vermont 50 Mountain Bike or Ultra Run goes on sale tonight, May 25 at 7 PM ET. Our race course will basically be the same as in years past however we’ve made some changes to keep everyone safe and healthy.
The race will be In-Person on September 26, 2021 starting at 6 AM. The course closes at 6:30 PM.
The 28th VT50 will follow all state, federal, and CDC guidelines in regards to COVID-19 and we will ask our race participants to comply with these also.
Some changes have been made in order to host this in-person event during this COVID-19 pandemic. You may be asked to provide proof of vaccination or be required to fill out a Vermont Certificate of Compliance. Your crew member and/or camping buddy may also asked for these documents.
Things are still influx and some of the events we have eliminated may be reinstated as September gets closer but for now the following WILL NOT happen:
These events are fundraisers for Vermont Adaptive and as such will no longer be offering partial refunds. Fees are non-refundable, regardless of injury, lack of adequate training, an irreconcilable schedule conflict, or any other reason, no matter how valid. It cannot be moved to a future year.
Registration/Race Bib is non-transferable.
If you feel you can deal with these changes for the 2021 race, please get your computers/phones fired up at 6;50 PM ET and be ready to REGISTER at 7 PM ET
We’re expecting the mountain bike to sell out in under 10 minutes, please consider becoming a VT Adaptive Fundraiser.

Right about now our first Mountain Bikers would be crossing the finish line. Our volunteers would be welcoming them and handing out water and race medals.
We are also thinking about Vermont Adaptive and how COVID-19 has affected their funding. We hope some of you will join us today and get OUTDOORS and raise some money for our favorite group of people-Vermont Adaptive-staff, volunteers and clients!
